How to turn off automatic uploading of JPG files

Few weeks ago somehow my Flickr setting got changed in a troubling way.
Whenever I save a JPG file/picture on my computer it gets uploaded automatically to my Flickr. How do I turn information technology off?
All JPG files on my computer (thousands) got uploaded to my Flickr which is not what I intended. Which program controls this automated uploading?

Sounds like you lot downloaded the flickr stand up-alone Uploadr (either Mac or Windows version). You tin can limit the folders that it monitors for upload or you can remove this Uploadr from your machine.

Me either. Someone will be along to reply your demand. I take not downloaded the program myself and the documentation available from flickr does not seem to want to explicate how to remove it. I'thou sure information technology's been answered here in the HF before, merely I'grand not finding that quickly either.

If you are on WINDOWS: go to *Programs*, you volition find information technology in the listing.

To remove it from your machine: but right click on it, you lot volition see the option to "uninstall".

I call up previous threads almost difficulties uninstalling the Uploadr but can't detect one when I searched just now. Yeah, you practise have to stop the Uploadr from running before you uninstall information technology - in that location's an option in one of the menus, if I recall correctly.

The program Uploadr was not visible on the Plan list and not in the Flickr binder, simply it was on the Control Console.
